Hello again and thanks for checking out my fundraising page. The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts means a lot to me, as my own family benefited from food assistance when I was just an infant living here in the Pioneer Valley. My Dad was finishing up college at UMass on the GI bill, Mom was home with me and my sister, and money was tight. We got a helping hand back then, and now I get to pay it forward. 

This will be my 7th straight year completing Will Bike 4 Food, and my 6th doing so leading Team UMassFive. I'm so proud to work for an organization where I spend my days trying to improve access to fair, local financial services - and I know that food security is an important step on the path to financial well-being. We live in a world of abundance and yet too many of our neighbors find themselves in situations where this need isn't consistently met. Hopefully some day we won't need organizations like the Food Bank, but until that day comes we'll keep riding, spreading awareness, and raising funds to help.
