Welcome to my Monte's March fundraising page. I'm doing all I can to raise awareness and funds for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and to help make moves to end hunger. Every $1 donated provides 4 healthy and nutritious meals to a neighbor in need.

Each November, my dear friend and our favorite radio host Monte Belmonte, leads his annual Monte’s March against hunger through the Pioneer Valley. Pushing an empty shopping cart 43 miles from Springfield to Greenfield, Monte is joined by Congressman Jim McGovern, Food Bank Executive Director Andrew Morehouse, and a number of supporters from Western MA communities (including me and my team!) as they raise funds to help provide healthy meals to neighbors at risk of hunger. The community is encouraged to tune in to the radio and make donations to benefit The Food Bank’s mission while Monte and the marchers make their way across three counties.

This year, our goal is to raise $500,000 – the equivalent of 5,500 meals per day for a whole year!

I am a part of the team called "Cultivate Generosity". This year, our team goal is $30,000.

Monte's March is an extraordinary event in our community, and reflects the generosity of our friends and neighbors, along with people from all over the world that help support those in need. Thanksgiving week is an especially tough time to be hungry and without resources.
