I have been participating in the March for the Food Bank since 2016, and the problem of Food Insecurity in our communities continues to be a problem. Now, more than ever, I feel called to do all I can to raise awareness and funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and to help power my community to end hunger. 

Why I’m marching:

1. No one should ever have to face hunger. 

2. I want to be a good role model for my son. I want to show him that we can make a difference in people’s lives, and in our world. 

3. I teach children, and I coach children. Walking the walk, and not just talking, is really important to being an effective role model. 

4. I have more than enough; I want to give back to my community… And inspire others to do the same.

Every $1 donated provides 3 healthy and nutritious meals to a neighbor in need. Please consider donating-even a small donation can do so much!
