Despite our nation's wealth and generosity, we continue to experience food insecurity at a shocking level. The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, located in a new warehouse in Chicopee, is currently serving 48% of families in Franklin and Hampshire counties who suffer from food insecurity. In the past year, the Food Bank of Western Mass has provided over 14 million meals, reaching an average of 117,000 families each month. Join me in supporting the Food Bank's 16th annual Will Bike 4 Food. Last year we raised over $250,000 and our overall goal this year is $300,000. Your support is much appreciated by our neighbors. By letting friends, family, coworkers, customers, and clients know that ending hunger in Western Massachusetts is an issue that’s important, you can pass on your commitment to end hunger and encourage others to help us achieve that goal.
