On September 20, I'll be biking with a group from Habitat for Humanity to raise awareness for The Food Bank of Western Mass. I have the easy job of pedaling through the scenic countryside of the Connecticut River Valley. Those that rely on the services of the Food Bank to provide healthy and nutritious food to their families have it much harder. I am riding with a fun group that know that housing and food are vital to survival and any impact we can make locally will ultimately help the greater community.
