New year, new name! Cycling this year under the banner of the Franklin Hampshire Habitat Rides 4 Food superteam for my third year, as always with a great group of cyclists, many of whom are part of the Habitat community locally. While I am not able to be at the event in person, Stewart and I will be riding in solidarity from where we'll be, in North Haven, Maine.

Because it bears repeating, I will share once more the words of our fearless team leader Bill Levine and confirm my own commitment to his ideals: The need for food and shelter go hand in hand and we are experiencing critical shortages in and challenges to both areas here in our Valley. That's why I am raising money again this year for one of Habitat's local sister organizations, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
