Welcome to my Monte's March fundraising page. I'm doing all I can to raise awareness and funds for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and to help make moves to end hunger. Every $1 donated provides 4 healthy and nutritious meals to a neighbor in need. Be sure to tune in to 93.9 The River (FM) & 88.5FM NEPM, on November 24th and 25th to follow Monte and the marchers on our journey!

This will be my 14th year participating in this amazing event. We will be walking from Springfield to Greenfield, 43 miles over 2 days. The first day we will trek 17 miles from Springfield to Northampton. We will walk through Springfield, Chicopee, Holyoke, Easthampton, and ending the day in Northampton. Along the way we will make stops at several agencies that provide food, among many other services, to those in need. These agencies are supported by The Food Bank of Western Mass. On the Second we will walk 26 miles beginning in Northampton. our walk will bring us through Northampton, Hadley, Amherst, Sunderland, South Deerfield, Whately, Deerfield and finally end in Greenfield 12 hours later. Stopping again at several agencies along the way that provide help for those with food insecurities.
