Hello, there! And welcome to my March for the Food Bank fundraising page. On behalf of The Old Creamery Co-op, I'm doing all I can to raise awareness and funds for the Food Bank and to help power my community to end hunger. Every $1 donated provides 2 nutritious meals to people facing hunger in Western Massachusetts.  

Really?  Yes. On Monday, November 24, I plan to embark on the 43-mile March to End Hunger in support of the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. On Monday we'll walk from Springfield to Northampton. On Tuesday we'll walk from Northampton to Greenfield.

Why?  Because Food Insecurity Sucks. 

Is it going to be rough?   Yes. But I've done dumber and harder things for far less noble reasons. 

Dumber? Wait. You're doing some preliminary conditioning, right? Lots of leg days? Endurance training? Something?   Nope! If I were smarter, had fewer commitments, or could squeeze a couple extra hours into every day between now and then - then, maybe.

And yet...   And yet it is a thing worth doing, and I'm going to do it. (Just because you can't do everything, doesn't mean you shouldn't do something.)
