New this year- the March for the Food Bank goes to Berkshire County!

16 years ago, Monte Belmonte pushed an empty shopping cart from Northampton to Greenfield with the goal of raising $5,000 for the Food Bank. He rallied the community to raise $13,000 that year, and started a movement that became the annual
March for the Food Bank.

This year the annual March embarks on its 43-mile journey from Springfield to Greenfield on Monday, November 24th and Tuesday, November 25th. We are thrilled to also include a 3-mile Berkshire Mini-March in Pittsfield on Saturday, November 22nd, after which marchers can volunteer at Pittsfield Community Pantry preparing bags of food for Thanksgiving Angels.

 Join Monte, Congressman Jim McGovern, & Food Bank Executive Director Andrew Morehouse as they march from Springfield to Greenfield on November 24th and 25th.
