Every Mile Creates Change
Sunday, September 20, 2026

New data from the 6th Annual Food Access Study show that 50% of households in Western Massachusetts struggle to afford enough nutritious food - well above the statewide average of 40%. These rates have actually doubled since the pandemic.

Each year, hundreds of supporters of the Food Bank come together to raise money to provide nutritious food for people experiencing food insecurity and hunger in our region. Last year through the efforts of cyclists, donors and sponsors, we surpassed our $250,000 goal - can we count on you to help us across the finish line to $300,000 in 2026?

WB4F unites cyclists of all ages and skill levels at the Lion’s Club Pavilion (15 Billings Way, Hatfield) where groups gear up to leave at these designated times:

  • 7:00 am: 100-Mile Century Ride
  • 10:15 am: 50-Mile Half Century Ride
  • 12:00 pm: 25-Mile Quarter Century Ride
  • 1:30 pm: 12-Mile Ride
  • 1:30 pm: 4-Mile Family Fun Ride

Participants will be provided with:

  • Caffeine and nourishment before they leave
  • Snacks, water, and support vehicles along the way
  • A WB4F T-Shirt
  • After-Party ticket

And will return to the lively After Party from 2-5 p.m., which will include:

Can’t make the live event? We have a virtual option for participants to raise money riding their miles whenever they choose during Hunger Action Month in September.

Our goal of $300,000 would provide 900,000 meals to the community!
